Discount Services & Insurance Claims

Teacher / Public Employee

Altura Members who are teachers/professors, engineers or scientists can qualify for a 15% reduction in Comprehensive and Collision premiums if insured by Altura. For teachers or full-time college/university professors, you must be certified by the State of California Commission on Teacher credentialing. 

Engineers must have a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) or be licensed as an engineer in one of the following fields: aeronautical, aerospace, architectural, chemical, civil, electrical, gas, mechanical, nuclear, petroleum or structural. 

Scientists must have a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in one of the following physical sciences: astronomy, biochemistry, biology, chemistry, computer science, cybernetics, geology, geophysics, information systems, mathematics, physics or planetary systems.

Multi-Policy

Combining your insurance coverages to one place can add convenience and give you a deeper understanding of all of your needs. With our Multi-Policy discount, TruStage Insurance can better identify and eliminate potential “gaps” or unnecessary overlaps in coverage.

Good Driver

We always want to reward those who are smart and safe on the road. With our Good Driver Discount, we will reward you with a discount on your policy. When your discount is applied your quoted premiums will reflect in your savings.

Mature Driver

If you are 55 or older you may qualify for a 5% discount on bodily injury, property damage, and comprehensive premiums. To qualify you must have completed a California state-approved mature driver improvement course.

Multi-Car

Insure two or more vehicles for discount on your coverage.
