Who We Are

Wehling Insurance Agency is a 5 generation insurance agency founded in 1896 and recently celebrated 120 years in business.  The agency was founded by Patrick’s Great-Great Grandfather Gothilf Jacob Weible.  Gothilf, who went by Jacob, was born in 1854 and passed in 1930.  The 2nd generation was Patrick’s Great-Grandfather, Adolf Weible who lived from 1888 to 1963.  Alice (Weible) Wehling, Patrick’s Grandmother was 3rd generation and was born in 1911 and passed in 2005.  4th generation is Patrick’s father, John Wehling was born in 1942 and just celebrated his 75th birthday.  Patrick, being 5th generation was born in 1973 and had twin sons, who he hopes will continue on as 6th generation.
