Dale Atkinson CIC

A native of New Glarus, WI, Dale began his insurance career in 1980 after attending the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh. Hired as a commercial premium auditor with General Casualty, Dale resided in La Crosse, WI until accepting a marketing representative position with the company in Sioux Falls, SD. Four years later, Dale relocated in the same capacity to Minneapolis, MN. In 1987, Dale became a commercial insurance agent with a large independent insurance agency in Minnetonka, MN. In 1989, Dale joined Tri-Insure (formally known as Freitag-Atkinson Agency) and became an owner in 1992. In 2001, Dale completed the necessary education and exams to achieve the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor from the National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research in Austin, TX.

Active in his community, Dale is a past president of the Monticello Lions Club, retired 10 year member of the Monticello Fire Department and former Monticello Village Board Trustee.

Dale resides in Monticello with his wife Jodi and daughter Gracie. He also has two adult daughters – Brianna of Cedar Rapids, IA and Justine of West Allis, WI.
