APRIL 30, 2024

LONG VIEW ROAD CLOSURE

Effective immediately, Long View Road is closed on the east side of Anderson Road.  Anderson Road is now open for traffic travelling both directions. A detour route has been established using Morris Lane to travel to Radar Hill Road.

Left turns will not be allowed on to SD Highway 44 from Anderson Road for southbound traffic. Only traffic travelling westbound on SD Highway 44 will be able to turn north to Anderson Road. There will be no access to Anderson Road travelling eastbound on SD Highway 44.

Anderson Road will still have ongoing road work and motorists are urged to be cautious of equipment and personnel  working on the road. Anderson Road may be narrowed to one lane traffic at times.

APRIL 24, 2024

ANDERSON ROAD CLOSURE SOUTH OF SD HIGHWAY 44

Effective immediately, Anderson Road south of SD Highway 44 will be closed to through traffic for sewer and water line work.  Detours are in place for the travelling public. 

The completion date for this phase of work will be July 15, 2024. 

This closure will be detailed on the Pennington County Public Safety Hub map which can be found at www.pennco.org/publicsafetyhub.

2024 Hours of Operation

The Pennington County Administration Building is open for public service Monday through Thursday offering extended hours from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily. The Building will be closed to public access on Fridays.
