Matt Anderson

Matt is a life-long boater and enjoys spending time with his family on Grand Traverse Bay and other Northern Michigan lakes. A graduate of Michigan State University and the University of Michigan, Matt uses his years of insurance experience as well as his background in commercial financing and legislative administration to guide our company while supporting the boating industry.

Pam Stanley

Pam is one of the original founders of Global Marine Insurance Agency and has extensive knowledge of yachts, boats, and the marine insurance industry. She is a graduate of Central Michigan University and is respected as one of the industry’s foremost underwriters. Pam and her family are avid downhill skiers and enjoy attending yacht rendezvous all over the country.

Barry Gray

Barry and his family are boating enthusiasts and enjoy spending family time together fishing, tubing, and water skiing. He is a graduate of Michigan State University and has an extensive background in human resources, operations, and customer service in the insurance and banking industries. As COO, Barry manages all of the internal operations, systems, and customer service for Global Marine.

Troy Buttleman

When Troy isn’t traveling around the country working with insurance companies and boat dealers to support the boating industry, he can be found on his boat with his family on one of the beautiful lakes in Northern Michigan. A graduate of Michigan State University, Troy has quickly earned the reputation of being one of the hardest working guys in the marine insurance business. His extensive background in finance and insurance allows him to develop relationships and products that benefit our customers and boat dealers around the country.

Holly Tillotson

An avid boater who owns a 205 Sport Sea Ray, Holly has more than 20 years of experience as a finance and insurance manager in the marine industry. The daughter of a retired US Army Colonel, she was born in Germany and raised in Idaho Falls, ID. Holly moved to Seattle in 1991 and worked with Olympic Boat Centers until 2008 and later with the largest marine dealership of Sea Ray boats and yachts on the West Coast before joining Global Marine Insurance in 2015. Though free time is scarce, Holly enjoys spending time with her husband, Darrin, and their daughter Zoe. As dedicated members of the 12th Man, Hollyand her family make every Seahawks game an event.

Mike Abbott

Mike Abbott graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in political science. Shortly after college, his love of boating was revealed when he took a job aboard a 151′ Feadship that cruised extensively in the Atlantic and Caribbean. After a few years of life on the water, in 2000 Mike decided to join Global Marine Insurance. He started on the small boat team and quickly moved up to join the yacht underwriting group. In 2002, he was asked to relocate to South Florida to expand Global Marine’s presence in the region. Mike partnered with the country’s largest yacht dealer (Allied Marine Group); and over the next 10 years grew the company’s mega-yacht business into one of the largest in the country. He moved back to Global Marine’s headquarters in Traverse City, MI in 2011 to become a part owner. He currently heads the company’s P&C division and is the senior marine underwriter in charge of the mega and super yacht areas.

Cassalyn Korb

Cassalyn graduated with a Bachelors degree from Ferris State University in 1994. She has over 20 years of experience in Property and Casualty insurance and is the cornerstone of our commercial insurance team. Cassalyn has a strong background in commercial marine insurance and is dedicated to continuing her education through earning additional professional certifications. She enjoys working with boat dealers, marinas, boat rentals, and private lake owners across the country. When this Northern MI native isn’t working she enjoys boating, horseback riding, and snowmobiling in her hometown of Traverse City, MI.

Mike Jager

Mike Jager, the manager of GMI Private Risk, earned a business degree from Davenport University.  Since then, he has gained a strong background in insurance ranging from ownership of a Grand Rapids, Michigan Allstate agency to overseeing national accounts at Hagerty Insurance for collectors’ vehicles.  Mike now utilizes his experience to create customized insurance solutions for high net worth clients. In his free time, he enjoys basketball, golf, hiking and travel. He lives in Traverse City with his wife Erica and kids Henry, Elin and Cara.

Heather Feeney

Heather helps boat dealers and manufacturers improve both their bottom line and customer satisfaction by providing effective marine insurance solutions. Heather has experience working in many areas of the marine industry, including serving as a yacht crew member and boat dealer marketing specialist. Her experience and keen insight in the business make Heather uniquely qualified to help boat dealers and manufacturers maximize their success.

Jim Stanley

Jim has spent his life on the water and travels around the country consulting with boat dealers, manufacturers, and other marine business partners. His understanding of the business, coupled with Global’s unique programs, helps dealers and manufacturers meet their customers’ needs while growing their bottom line. A decorated competitive downhill skier and avid water skier, Jim also manages Global’s partnership with USA Water Ski.

Ben Belyea

Ben grew up in a boating family and has piloted yachts and boats of all sizes throughout his life. He and his wife enjoy spending time on their boat whenever possible. A former All-American downhill skier and graduate of St. Olaf College, Ben understands the boating lifestyle and enjoys helping boaters find the insurance coverage that best fits their needs.

Jennifer Oltersdorf

Jennifer spent many summers growing up in Charlevoix, MI and loves to participate in many Northern Michigan outdoor activities including boating, kayaking, cross-country skiing and running. Jennifer graduated from Michigan State University and has worked in customer relations for many years prior to working at Global Marine Insurance. As a Sales Producer at Global Marine Insurance, she can assist you with your new purchase and find the best coverage for your needs.

Denise Wolberg

Denise’s experience and knowledge working for over 26 years in a service focused industry makes her a valuable asset to Global Marine Insurance Agency and to your company. Prior to joining Global Marine Insurance as our Marketing Representative, Denise held a position for 10 years as Finance & Insurance Mgr. at an esteemed marine dealership in Lake of the Ozarks, MO. She confidently works with you to successfully implement offering our insurance to your customers under one of our referral programs. In her free time she enjoys scuba diving, tennis, golf, and dinner events with friends. Denise is based out of Dallas, TX and serves the TX, OK, LA, AR, and MO area.

Amanda Wetzel bio

Amanda, a Michigan native and self-described Great Lakes enthusiast, spent many of her summers growing up exploring the lakes and learning about their history with her family. She moved to Traverse City after completing her Master’s Degree in Historic Preservation at Eastern Michigan University. Amanda’s goal is to ensure that your commercial policy is completed in a timely manner and satisfies all of your commercial marine needs.

Jeff Heydlauff

Jeff has grown up and still focuses his life around the water. A former All-American collegiate swimmer, and competitive water-skier, his life continues to be centered around water. Jeff, his wife Kate, and daughter Charlotte enjoy boating, water sports, and spending as much time on the water as possible. A graduate of Hope College with business and communications degrees, Jeff’s entire professional career has been part of the marine industry. At Global Marine Insurance his focus is Commercial Marine Insurance. His extensive experience working in the marine industry and his passion for the water gives Global Marine’s customers an insurance specialist who understands and can best advise their business.

Gregg Reynolds

Gregg has spent 30 years in the insurance industry.  He was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. He is a competitive sailor, having competed in four Hawaii races and countless regattas and major events. He currently serves as the President of the Tacoma Waterfront Association, is an active member of the government affairs committee of the Northwest Marine Trade Association and is Chairman of the T Town Sailing Championship.  Gregg’s experience and passion for the marine industry makes him the perfect fit to assist your business with your commercial insurance needs.

Brad Phillips

Born on the coast of Wilmington, NC, Brad, from a young age, had a special bond with the ocean through surfing. Later, when he was introduced to fishing, his true passion developed. He began mating on a head boat, which turned into a venture in commercial grouper and snapper fishing. Brad acquired his 100 tons Masters Captains License while fishing for marlin up and down the East Coast. He remains an avid fisherman and spends many days on the ocean with his wife and two kids.
