Boat insurance is readily available here in Central Florida from a variety of insurance providers. While not required by Florida law, insuring your boat to protect your investment is highly recommended. If you’re financing all lenders will require your boat to be insured.

Most policies provide property, liability, bodily injury and medical coverage. Annual premiums for the average 18’ to 22’ runabout are in the $400 to $800 range depending on deductibles and coverage limits.
