Whether you are the head of a family interested in well-child benefits, a graduating student looking for health care coverage for the first time, self-employed or a small business owner, or a working couple planning to retire in a few years – our health plans offer a wealth of choices that will help you get the coverage that’s just right for you. From individual medical plans to supplement plans, we have you covered.

Here you will find overviews of many of our health care coverage plans. Each plan has different terms depending on whether you choose to use in-network or out-of-network health care providers.

Traditional Plans

Our Traditional Plans are a great health coverage option for both individuals and families. Traditional Plans do not meet the minimum requirements for the Affordable Care Act and require medical underwriting that may affect eligibility and rates.

Kansas Farm Bureau membership is required.

Advanced Choice

The Advanced Choice plan for families or individuals is a health plan that offers peace of mind coverage and includes dental and vision benefits. With this plan you get a choice of two different deductible amounts and an office visit co-pay.

Classic Choice

The Classic Choice plan is ideal for those who are looking for a health plan with preventative health, dental and vision benefits with higher deductible options and an office visit co-pay. Get the trifecta – health, dental and vision under one health plan. Available for individuals only.

Major Medical Health Coverage

The Major Medical plan is ideal for those who want catastrophic protection with the advantage of a lower cost. This plan provides benefits for physician services, hospitalization, prescription drugs and more. Available for individuals or families.

High Deductible Health Plan (HSA-Qualified)

Kansas Farm Bureau Health Plans offers a range of High Deductible Health Plans (HDHP) which meet all federal requirements necessary to open a Health Savings Account (HSA). HSA funds can be used to cover many out-of-pocket health care expenses.

Dental and Vision Plans

Kansas Farm Bureau Health Plans has bundled dental and vision coverage, exclusively for Farm Bureau members, in one affordable, convenient plan for individuals or families.

Short Term Coverage

Kansas Farm Bureau Health Plans offers Short Term Care health coverage to fill in temporary gaps. A Short Term Care plan is ideal for people such as those who are between jobs or recent graduates who are no longer covered as dependents under their parents' health care plan. These days, no one can afford to take the risk of being without financial protection against high health care costs – not even for a few days. A short term plan can fill such a gap.
