21st Century Insurance was founded in 1958 by Louis W. Foster. Since the beginning, the company has focused on selling auto insurance and, today they still provider drivers with peace of mind on the open road. While they started small, 21st Century has grown to be one of the most well-known insurance brands in the nation and, aside from auto insurance, they offer a bevy of other insurance products.

In 2009, 21st Century was acquired by Farmers Insurance Group of Companies and they are now a subsidiary of Farmers Insurance Group. Farmers Insurance serves more than 10 million households with more than 20 million individual policies across all 50 states.
