Established in 1951 as a family-owned business, Crawford Insurance is a local company built on faith and integrity with a mission to offer the best coverage for the lowest price with outstanding customer service in Pittsburgh as well as the Northern Virginia area and the low-country of South Carolina.  Jim Crawford continues the independent agency tradition of providing a full line of insurance products for both family and business clients.

The agency was established in Penn Hills by K. Ray Crawford and has continued to service individual and businesses in the entire Pittsburgh region since 1951.

The office has expanded within the Penn Hills area several times since opening its doors in Ray’s Crescent Hills residence in 1951. As the offices of the agency grew, so did the level of operations and range of services.

The goals of the agency have been to constantly serve customers fairly, competitively and personally with the utmost integrity.
