Raymond Wieczorek

Raymond was born in New Britain, CT but has lived and raised his family right here in Manchester, NH. He is a very respected and highly esteemed member of the community, known for his dedication and service in New Hampshire. Raymond is a Korean war veteran and a member of the American legion. Some of his life time accomplishments include being the director and president of the Manchester Scholarship Foundation, commissioner of the Manchester Housing and Redevelopment Authority and honored with an Honorary Doctor of Law from NH College. His most notable accomplishments were made in the city while serving as the Mayor of Manchester for five terms in the 1990s. He then sat on the Governor’s Executive Council from 2002-2012. Since leaving his role as a politician the state has built an airport access road and named it Raymond Wieczorek Drive. He has also been named “Citizen of the year” by the Manchester Chamber of Commerce and received Elliot Hospital’s William S. Green Award of excellence. He has been actively involved in many other clubs and organizations including The Boys & Girls club, Veterans of Foreign Wars and was a former president of The United Way. In his free time he keeps up with politics, enjoys a daily coffee with friends, attends events for organizations or clubs and spends his winters in Florida.

Robert Wieczorek, CIC

Robert began working in the insurance industry in 1984. His father Raymond Wieczorek started Wieczorek Insurance in 1964. Robert became president in 1990 and has since grown the business tremendously. He is a Certified Insurance Counselor and is known for being hard-working and always staying informed about his clients and their needs. Robert was born and raised in New Hampshire where he still resides today. He is a dedicated member of the community and is a member of many organizations such as Easter Seals, Boys & Girls club, Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce and many more. In his free time, Robert is an avid golfer and enjoys traveling.

Cheryl Lapointe

Cheryl is our vice president and head of our commercial lines department, she brings over 35 years of solid insurance experience to our agency. She is responsible for our large accounts and portfolio management. She always maintains a personal connection with our clients making them feel comfortable and reassured they are getting the best of the best. Cheryl is a NH native and a graduate of Manchester West High School. She has two grown children with her husband Mike. She enjoys caring for her horses and other animals, spending her summers in Newburyport cruising around on her boat.

Karen Dionne

Karen joined Wieczorek Insurance in 2015, bringing with her more than 33 years of experience in agency accounting and administration. Karen earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Southern New Hampshire University, while working full- time and raising her daughter Shelly. Outside of the office, Karen and her husband John enjoy camping and boating with family and friends.

Tonya Smith

Tonya began her insurance career in 2005 as a new business sales specialist at a direct writing company. Wanting to know her clients on a more personal level she began working at Wieczorek Insurance in 2006 as a customer service representative. In her many years with us, she has built strong relationships with her clientele and thoroughly enjoys helping them to understand what coverages will best suit to their needs. As a valued member of our team, Tonya has won several awards including Safeco’s Award of Excellence with only the top 1% of their agents obtaining this recognition. She specializes in high value properties and has extensive experience in placing difficult risks. Tonya grew up in Auburn NH and still lives there today. She graduated from Manchester Memorial High School and attended NH College/ SNHU obtaining her associate in Business Management. She is the mother of a charismatic daughter and in her free time enjoys long walks with her dog and time with friends and family.

Sandra Peters

Sandra has over 32 years of experience in insurance as a certified insurance counselor. She has held virtually every position in common to an insurance agency throughout her career. Although her specialty is commercial insurance, her extensive experience and background gives her a unique perspective on all of the insurance needs of her clients, allowing her to integrate and coordinate coverages, avoiding gaps and redundancies. She is known as an advisor, counselor and advocate for her business partners. Sandra volunteers at the Keene community kitchen helping people in need. She donates to multiple organizations in Cheshire county such as Cedarcrest center for children with disabilities, 100 nights homeless shelter, Linda’s closet and Boy Scouts of America. She lives in Surry, NH with her husband, David and their dog Skylar. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends, cooking, hiking & snowshoeing.

Mark Burns

Mark is a native of Manchester, NH. He is a graduate of Bentley University and has been an insurance agent for 35 years. He has assisted numerous businesses and individuals with their various insurance needs. Mark is very active in the Manchester community as a member of the Manchester Rotary Club, trustee of the Manchester Boys & Girls Club, Manchester Historic Association and actively serves as chairman of the Manchester Fire Commission. In his spare time, Mark enjoys playing golf, skiing & fly fishing. Mark resides in Manchester, NH with his wife Marcia and has two grown children.

Tonja Lacroix

Tonja began her career in the insurance industry in 2004 as a personal lines assistant at a local agency where she obtained her license and moved into an account executive position. She joined Wieczorek Insurance’s Keene office in 2012 where she has really enjoyed and takes pride in the strong relationships formed with her clientele. Tonja has earned the ACSR – Accredited Customer Service Representative designations in both personal and commercial lines. Tonja grew up in and resides in Westminster, Vermont. She has been an active community member – involved in many youth sports organizations and The Women of the Moose who are constantly working and helping both local community members as well as Moose International. In her free time, Tonja enjoys kayaking, riding her motorcycle and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
