The NEA Pet Insurance Program is offered and administered by Pets Best Insurance. Your pets are part of the family, so you’d do anything to keep them healthy. But accidents and illnesses can be costly, from a few hundred dollars for an urgent-care visit to thousands of dollars for surgery. Pet insurance helps you give your pets the care they need and also gives you the confidence that you can pay for their veterinary bills.

Choose from multiple options to create the best plan for you and your pet. • The Accident Only pet insurance plan starts at only $6/month for cats and $9/month for dogs and covers the treatment of accidental injuries.2 • NEA members can save 5% on a BestBenefit Accident and Illness Plan. Have a few furry family members? You’ll save another 5% with their multi-pet discount.1 • Pets Best offers wellness plans that cover routine care items. These wellness plans can be added on to the BestBenefit plan for an additional cost.

There are no restrictions on providers: Pets Best will work with any licensed veterinarian in the U.S.

Easy claims

Pets Best makes claims easy. Submit a claim through the mobile app or your online customer account. And they offer free direct deposit, so your reimbursements can go directly into your bank account.
