Also, if the driver of the scooter is under 18 years old, they must complete and submit to the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) the “Consent of a Person Having Parental Authority” form to get their license and registration. This form is available on the SAAQ website.

In Quebec, by law, you must have civil liability insurance if you have a classic trailer, a pop-up tent trailer, or a fifth wheel. Civil liability covers damages that your RV may cause to another person.

However, it’s also recommended that you add coverage in case of collision, fire, theft and vandalism.

Depending on the type of trailer you have, your insurance agent can advise you on the best coverage to make sure you’re protected in case of a claim.

Do you have an RV or are you about to buy one? The best RV insurance is the one that provides adequate coverage for anything that might happen while you’re on the road.

The coverage you get will depend on the type of RV you have – classic trailer, pop-up trailer, fifth wheel, motorhome – and how you use it. For example, if you regularly travel to the United States in your RV, 2 million dollars of civil liability coverage is recommended.
