Ever been stranded because of unexpected car trouble, like a dead car battery? It can happen when you’re at work, out running errands or even at home. Roadside assistance, an option that can be added to your Travelers car insurance policy, can help.

What can r oadside a ssistance cover ?

C hances are , someday you’ll get a flat tire, run out of gas or have a mechanical problem a nd be stuck on the side of the road. But with r oadside a ssistance coverage, you can have peace of mind knowing that road service is just a phone call away. W e offer two levels of 24-hour r oad a ssistance to choose from: one for people who just want basic roadside coverage and another for people who may be looking for something more .

Submit your roadside request online** Or call 800.252.4633, select option 3 Policyholders with Roadside Assistance should make sure to have their policy number ready. The 13-digit policy number can typically be found on your Auto ID card.

Services offered

Roadside  assistance from Travelers can provide towing service up to 15 miles for Roadside Assistance or up to 100 miles for Premier Roadside Assistance ® .     To get started, just call or submit your request online and Travelers will dispatch a tow truck for you , including j ump start, fuel delivery,† flat tire change and lockout assistanc e . You also h ave the option of hiring an independent towing service, paying them directly and requesting reimbursement.

Premier Roadside Assistance   Packag e

Premier Roadside Assistance will provide towing service up to 100 miles, as well as jump start, fuel delivery,†  flat tire change and lockout assistance .

This package also provides trip interruption coverage, which means you may be eligible for reimbursement of $200 a day (to a maximum of $600) for meals and lodging if your car break s down at least 100 miles from home and your vehicle is out of commission for more than 24 hours.

Premier Roadside Assistance also includes personal property coverage with a $500 limit, which provides coverage to replace stolen or damaged personal property as a result of a covered, paid comprehensive or collision loss.
